Governor Eric Holcomb Thursday announced the members of the board who will help decide how to use up to $250 million to support high-growth companies.
Today’s meeting runs from 2:30-4:30pm. It will include board introductions, the adoption of an investment policy and the approval of the agreement to officially create the Next Level Indiana Trust.
The board includes:
- Hulman & Co. Chief Administrative and Financial Officer Cynthia Lucchese
- Aprimo Co-founder and former Chief Executive Officer Bill Godfrey
- Indiana Economic Development Corp. President Elaine Bedel
- Office of Management and Budget Director Micah Vincent
- Indiana Treasurer Kelly Mitchell
- State Senator Luke Kenley
- State Representative Tim Brown
The money for the fund comes in part from proceeds from the lease of the Indiana Toll Road. When it was announced, TechPoint Chief Executive Officer Mike Langellier told Inside INdiana Business the move shows the rest of the country that Indiana is "going from laggard to leader" in venture capital.
