New Vogue Owners Plan Enhancements For ‘Historic’ Venue

Subscribe NowThe new owners of the Vogue in Indianapolis say the venue combines their passions inside and outside of their roles as tech entrepreneurs. High Alpha co-founder Eric Tobias and former MOBI executives Scott Kraege and Andrew Davis say they are hoping to increase the frequency and variety of events at the Broad Ripple venue while enhancing the experience for fans and artists.
During an interview with Inside INdiana Business, Tobias said he and is partners are also investing in the city’s quality of life. He says the topic frequently comes up during job interviews.
"They want to know about the job," says Tobias, "and then the very next question they ask is, ‘Tell me about Indy. Where will my kids go to school? What are the great restaurants? What is the culture like? What do you guys do on the weekends?’ And music and the arts is a big part of that discussion."
The group has said they will retain the Vogue’s current staff to run day-to-day operations, which Kraege calls "a no-brainer." He says he goes to concerts at the Vogue monthly, and says people there receive an experience and customer service that he and his partners don’t want to disrupt.
Tobias, Kraege and Davis say they will detail their plans for enhancements in the coming months.
"Hopefully people come to the Vogue, just like they always have, and have a wonderful experience," says Tobias. "Our goal is that, when they leave, going forward, they will say to themselves, ‘You know, something was just a little bit different, just a little bit better.’"
