New Rose-Hulman Office Seeks Partners
Hagerman will continue to lead Rose-Hulman Ventures as she has for the last three years.

Subscribe NowThe first leader of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Office for Corporate Engagement says it will target a "wide mix" of companies. Vice President for Corporate Engagement Elizabeth Hagerman, a 2000 Rose-Hulman graduate, says the office will help develop alliances on a state and national level with "premier" partners. She says the goal is to make it easier for companies to tap into the expertise of students, faculty and programs offered by the Terre Haute-based institution.
Hagerman tells Inside INdiana Business companies are "hungry" for talent and the office will give them the chance to cultivate it "early on." She says it will involve several facets within the school, including academic affairs, career services, the Office of Diversity and Rose-Hulman Ventures, which Hagerman has led since 2012.
Rose-Hulman President Jim Conwell says “as our educational environment has become more complex, our relationships with the corporate world also have become more varied. This new office will define and implement the strategy that will lead to even stronger ties with our corporate partners."
The Office For Corporate Engagement team will also include Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs Rick Stamper, Director of Career Services and Employer Relations Kevin Hewerdine, Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations Brandon Zollner and Rose-Hulman Ventures Director of Business Development and Operations Mitch Landess.
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has an enrollment of more than 2,200 undergraduate students and nearly 100 at the graduate level.
