New Leadership Named for IU Health

The appointments will become effective next year and will report directly to IU Health’s new president Dennis Murphy.
Al Gatmaitan will serve as executive vice president and chief operating officer, beginning on February 1. He has worked for IU Health for 23 years and currently serves as president of the IU Health West Central Region.
Ryan Kitchell has been named executive vice president and chief administrative officer. He currently serves as chief financial officer and with his new role, he will over see IU Health’s system business services. He will begin his new position on February 1.
IU Health has also named Kevin Armstrong as chief mission and values officer. Armstrong currently serves as president of Methodist Health Foundation. His new role, which will begin on January 11, will see Armstrong continuing to align the philanthropy mission for IU Health’s many entities.
IU Health says the appointments are "part of an organizational alignment designed to better serve patients and their families."
