Purdue this week announced Ranae Stewart as the partnership’s new senior executive director after holding the position on an interim basis.
Stewart has been with the Carmel-based organization since 2013, most recently serving as director of center operations. She was named interim executive director, and succeeds the retiring David Snow.
The Purdue MEP provides consulting and training services that “enable Indiana manufacturers to work smarter, compete, and prosper,” the university said in a news release.
The partnership said Stewart has played a pivotal role in driving major milestones, including the launch of the organization’s Manufacturing Skills for Success program, which has trained more than 1,600 people since 2018.
“Under Ranae’s guidance, I am confident Purdue MEP will not only maintain its current momentum but will be propelled to new heights,” David said in the release. “Her ability to align strategic objectives with operational execution has been instrumental in driving our Center’s success.”
Stewart also serves on the board for the Foundation for Manufacturing Excellence and the Indiana Small Business Development Center.
