New leader named for Madjax in Muncie

Acree-King has several years of experience in the not-for-profit sector in the Muncie area.
She most recently served as relationship and resource director for the Nonprofit Support Network in Muncie and also held positions with the Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County and the Cornerstone Center for the Arts.
“Carly embodies grit, creativity, and collaboration,” Madjax Board Chairman Allison Robbins said in a news release. “We’re beyond excited to have her join our team.”
Acree-King will begin her new role on Nov. 11.
Madjax established in late 2015 when it was known as GearBox: Muncie. It was rebranded to Madjax in the summer of 2016.
Located in the former Cintas building at 515 E. Main Street, the space includes the Design Lab, which allows people to take use various types of equipment to prototype new products, utilize digital fabrication, or learn how to make their own gifts.
Madjax opened the city’s second CO:LAB coworking space in 2016.
