New IEDC Talent & Workforce Lead Named

(NYSE: GE) senior leader Tony Denhart executive vice president of talent and workforce for the Indiana Economic Development Corp. Denhart most recently served as the university relations director for GE Corporate.
Denhart will be responsible for helping to connect Hoosier businesses with talent resources, including universities, government agencies and education stakeholders. The IEDC says Denhart will focus on improving the process for employers to develop robust talent pipelines, meet hiring goals and implement training programs.
“With Tony’s leadership, the IEDC will ensure Indiana is positioned to offer the business community coordinated support in talent recruitment and cultivating programs to attract and retain talent for our growing businesses and industries,” said Chambers.
Denhart began his career in 1989 as a GE field engineer. Most recently, he led the company’s strategy and implementation of university relations and campus recruitment initiatives.
He starts the role in January.
