Tom Jennings (pictured) most recently served as director of operations for the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis. He succeeds Jim Price, who left the position after seven years to become director of development with United Way of Cass County.
Jennings’s experience includes nearly 30 years of experience in the visitor service space, with previous positions at the Toledo Zoo and the Henry Ford Museum. In a post on Facebook, the museum says Jennings "is expected to take the historic attraction to a whole new level."
The Grissom Air Museum was founded in Miami County in the early 1980s and it touts itself as one of the nation’s fastest-growing aviation museums. Features include more than two dozen historic aircraft, an observation tower and hands-on exhibits.
