New Albany Dental Marketing Agency Acquired

An Oregon-based marketing technology company is adding to its portfolio with three companies, including one in Indiana. itrac LLC, which works to help dental practices grow their business, has acquired SmartBox Dental in New Albany, though financial details were not disclosed.
SmartBox is a digital marketing and management agency focusing on dental practices throughout the country. The company provides services such as website design and launch, continuing education and practice training.
“SmartBox customers will not see any disruption in deliverables, but rather an increased investment in the technology, services, and growth tools we can offer them,” Colin Receveur, founder and CEO of SmartBox, said in a news release.
As a result of the acquisition, Receveur has joined itrac’s board of directors. SmartBox currently employs 40 people and itrac Chief Marketing Officer Becky Meek says there will be additional opportunities for growth.
“One of the reasons SmartBox was an attractive investment was because of the quality and depth of talent they have,” Meek said in an email to Inside INdiana Business.
itrac has also acquired DentalPost, a dental-focused recruitment platform in Atlanta, and Texas-based Local Search for Dentists, a web-based dental marketing company.
The company says the acquisitions gives it a nationwide footprint with customers in all 50 states.
