Navy Awards Big Contract to Raytheon in Indy

Though awarded to the Indianapolis operation, the work will be performed in Florida. It is expected to be complete by December 2017.
The repairs are related to more than 40 different parts that support operation of the aircraft.
In March, the manufacturer announced plans in March to relocate 250 jobs to Indianapolis from operations in California and Virginia. Raytheon’s Fort Wayne facility has been the recipient of multiple multi-million dollar contracts this year.
