(NYSE: RSG) has announced plans to invest $13 million into a new shared services center in Fishers and create up to 469 jobs by 2025. The news follows Wednesday’s announcements from STANLEY Security Systems and Braden Business Systems involving hundreds of jobs and more than $20 million in investment in two corporate headquarters. Fadness says Fishers has already secured more job commitments this year than it did in all of 2015.
Republic Services, a recycling and non-hazardous solid waste disposal services provider, has more than 1,500 full-time employees in Indiana. Fadness says the new jobs will be on the corporate side, with many paying more than $50,000 per year. The company expects to have the facility up and running by September. In all, Republic Services has more than 31,000 employees.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered the company up to $4.5 million in conditional tax credits based on the job creation plans. The city of Fishers is offering additional incentives.
On Wednesday, STANLEY Security Systems announced it will spend nearly $16 million to establish a corporate headquarters and bring more than 300 jobs to the Fishers Point Business Park. The same day, office technology company Braden Business System detailed plans to relocate from Indianapolis to the Nickel Plate District and hire 90 additional employees by 2020.
Fadness will be a guest this weekend on Inside INdiana Business Television.
