The company, formerly tend.ly, provides a software platform to help preschool and child care center owners with functions including billing, scheduling and curriculum planning.
MomentPath launched as tend.ly in 2014 before rebranding late last year. Founder and Chief Executive Officer Caitlin Coffman says she’s "thrilled" to grow the company in the state, adding, "I’ve seen firsthand the kind of innovation and hard work that happens in Indiana." Last year, MomentPath announced a $1 million seed-stage funding round led by Indiana-based investors including Scott McCorkle and venture capital firm Elevate Ventures.
The company, which currently employs seven, plans to invest more than $800,000 over the next four years into the expansion. It plans to add 50 positions over the next three years, including software developers, sales staff and customer care specialists.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered MomentPath up to $700,000 in conditional tax credits based on the job creation plans.
