Molly Chavers, the founding leader of the civic engagement organization for young professionals, says she plans to take time for family before determining what’s next. IndyHub was launched in 2005 by the city of Indianapolis and BioCrossroads to help retain and attract talent.
Chavers says "there are not words to describe the incredible honor it’s been to serve IndyHub, and by extension, Indianapolis. Today, I share that I will move on to my next adventure in a short time. As bittersweet as these words are to write, I want you to know that I do so with more confidence than ever before in our mission and our work. I am so proud to have had the opportunity to serve IndyHub and our city over the course of the last thirteen years."
She also serves on as a board member for Tourism Tomorrow Inc., Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation, Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee and the Indiana Sports Corp President’s Council. During her tenure at IndyHub, Chavers helped establish the IndyHub Foundation. In 2013, the organization was selected to lead the No Mean City initiative, which provides resources for those "on the front lines of attracting talent to Indy" to promote Marion County.
The IndyHub board will announce the timeline for the transition process in the coming weeks.
