MOBI, Clustertruck Among Top Mira Winners

Nearly 1,000 industry and business leaders came together to celebrate the best in tech in Indiana Saturday at the 18th Annual Mira Awards. Mobility management software provider MOBI won Tech Company of the Year, while ClusterTruck took home Corporate Innovator of the Year and New Startup of the Year honors. At the ceremony at The Westin Indianapolis, Governor Eric Holcomb also surprised TechPoint Chief Executive Officer Mike Langellier with a Sagamore of the Wabash award.

A panel of 50 judged selected 15 winners and three honorable mentions from 90 companies, organizations and individuals that were nominated for the awards. TechPoint says the panel spent more than 800 total hours reviewing and ranking applications.

Inside INdiana Business and TechPoint will this week send out a special e-newsletter featuring all of the Mira winners. Several of the winner interviews will also be a part of Inside INdiana Business Television next weekend.

In March, TechPoint named the winners of its inaugural People’s Choice Mira Awards. The Best Tech Event went to ClearObject’s IndyIoT symposium, Upper Hand’s headquarters is Best Tech Space, and Best Tech T-Shirt or Swag went to WebLink’s "Fight of the Century" t-shirt.
