A new, larger HealthLinc clinic in Mishawaka is now open after a $3 million expansion. The South Bend Regional Chamber of Commerce, which took part in a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony, says the renovations include space for additional optical and OB-GYN services, as well as a pharmacy.

The community health center is located in downtown Mishawaka. It served 6,200 patients last year and the expanded location is expected to increase that total by 90 percent. The ceremony last Thursday also included Mayor Dave Wood, Congresswoman Jackie Walorski (R-2) and Chamber President Jeff Rea.
