Northwestern Indiana insurance provider Meyers Glaros Group is moving to a new headquarters in Merrillville. The relocation, coming next month, is the result of a merger with Regnier Insurance Services of Highland.

The company plans to relocate from its current headquarters in Schererville to what will be a newly-renovated facility at 8605 Broadway in Merrillville. The company bought the 16,000-square-foot building and is renovating the facility with the Merrillville Redevelopment Commission Rebate and Facade Grant. Meyers Glaros Group plans $290,000 in improvements to the exterior, including new windows, masonry work and landscaping.

The company will occupy about 9,000 square feet and plans to offer about 7,000 square feet for lease. Some of the additional renovations include a cafe and a fully-equipped gym.
