MetaCX Growing in Indy, Adding Jobs

Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based Software-as-a-Service startup MetaCX says it will scale up operations in central Indiana and create up to 75 jobs by 2023. The High Alpha portfolio company will invest $1.4 million to renovate and equip office space in the Salesforce Tower. The company’s platform helps clients and businesses organize and manage their SaaS providers.
MetaCX is led by former ExactTarget President and Salesforce marketing Cloud Chief Executive Officer Scott McCorkle. He says the company will officially launch its platform later this summer.
The company raised more than $14 million in funding from California-based early-stage venture capital firm Upfront Ventures leading up to its launch. McCorkle appeared on Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick in December and said Indiana is drawing the attention of VC firms nationwide.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says MetaCX used the state’s Venture Capital Investment tax credit program to drive its initial growth. The IEDC has offered the company more than $2.5 million in conditional tax credits based on the company’s job creation plans. The city of Indianapolis is also supporting the project.
