Merrillville seeks public input on new slogan

The town of Merrillville is looking to update its slogan, and it’s asking the public for help. The Merrillville Town Council has created a form on its website where residents can submit their ideas for the slogan, which will be featured on new gateway signage.
The town said the effort is part of the process of upgrading the signage. Previous iterations of the signage have a slogan that said, “…the town that works for you.”
“This is an important project because these signs are the first items people see when they enter our Town, so we want the signs to deliver a welcoming and positive message,” the council says on the website.
The new slogan will be chosen by the town’s Elections, Public Relations, and Town Beautification Committee. It will also be used on the town’s website, social media pages and other materials.
