Two organizations that provide mental and emotional support to families in the greater Marion area have joined forces. As part of the new partnership, Grant Blackford Mental Health Inc. and Family Service Society Inc. have also named a new chief executive officer.

Lisa Dominisse will assume the role of CEO of the combined organization starting Monday, succeeding Marianne DiMatteo who is pursuing a new opportunity outside of Indiana. Dominisse served as FSSI president and CEO since 2015.

Under the new partnership, FSSI will become a GBMH subsidiary, but still allows them to maintain distinct identities. The organization says the partnership will reduce overhead while maximizing their ability to serve the community.
