Carmel-based MEG & Associates has hired Laura Donaldson as an account executive. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Secondary Education from Ball State University and began her teaching career with Indianapolis Public Schools. Donaldson later obtained a graduate degree in Cognitive & Social Processes from Ball State University and spent five years teaching for the Psychology Department at Indiana University East, specializing in Behavioral Neuroscience, Cognitive Psychology, and Methods of Experimental Psychology. She has worked as an administrative assistant for Donaldson’s Finer Chocolates since 2008 and continues to maintain that role.
In her new role, she will be creating and facilitating the social media campaign and marketing for MEG & Associates’ client, CanAdvance. CanAdvance, based in New York and recently launched in Indiana, is the Exclusive U.S. Distributor for ReadLS, an option for children struggling with reading or facing learning challenges.
Donaldson will also assist with existing client development, research new client prospects, and support MEG & Associates in an administrative role. Additionally, she will help with the planning and execution of city of Carmel events, as well as MEG & Associates events.
