Medical Device Maker Growing in Whitley County

Subscribe NowA Whitley County-based medical device manufacturer is expanding its northeast Indiana operation and adding about two dozen jobs. Columbia City-based Micropulse Inc., says it is investing nearly$7 million to expand, equip and better utilize its 160,000-square-foot facility.
Micropulse produces medical instrumentation, implants, sterilization cases, and sterile packaging for the orthopedic industry. It currently employs 360 people and plans to add 25 more when this announced expansion. “

The company says construction will start later this summer. The company expects to be operational in the new and upgraded facility by the fall of 2020.
