Mayor Hogsett Makes Appointments to Police Merit Board

Diana Ferguson-Mosely retired from IMPD in 2013 after 33 years on the force. She received a criminal justice degree from Oakland City University and a bachelor of business administration from Marian University.
Frank Sullivan Jr. served 19 years as a Justice on the Indiana Supreme Court. He authored approximately 500 majority opinions from 1993-2012. He also is a professor at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He holds an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and law degrees from he Indiana Maurer School of Law and the University of Virginia School of Law.
Jennifer Drewry is vice-president of governmental affairs and compliance for Sun King Brewery. Drewry holds a bachelor of arts from Purdue University and a law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
Joseph Slash was Indianapolis’ first African-American deputy mayor appointed by Mayor Bill Hudnut in 1978. He served on the mayor’s staff for 11 years before becoming vice president at Indianapolis Power & Light. Slash holds an accounting degree from Marshall University. This will be Slash’s fourth term on the board.
