The company will Wednesday host a hiring event to fill the six apprenticeship positions.
Marson says the industrial maintenance and robotics technology apprentices will gain skills in technology, digital manufacturing and production leadership. Individuals accepted into the program will become students at Ivy Tech South Bend – Elkhart as a part of the apprenticeship program education training.
Marson says the apprenticeships are open to both existing employees and new hires.
“Marson International is experiencing rapid growth as new and existing customers, largely within the recreation and automotive vehicle manufacturing market, continue to rely on our products for the industry,” said Marson International Vice President Jason Newburn. “As our productivity needs increase, so does the need to automate processes and enable streamlined production. We have experienced a greater need for production workers with industrial maintenance, robotics & programming, and CNC machining skills.”
Marson says it will hold interviews at 9:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 2:45 p.m. In addition to the apprenticeships, Marson says it will interview for tube bender machine operators, MIG welders and TIG welders positions.
