Terraboost Media says it will invest more than $1 million to lease and equip a facility and create up to 150 jobs by 2020. The company has more than 3,600 clients throughout the United States, and operations in Miami, Chicago and San Francisco. The company has a network of more than 65,000 patented, hand-sanitizing ad displays throughout the United States.
Terraboost plans to have its Indy operation on Allisonville Road up and running by the end of the month. The location will house its back-office operations as well as marketing, sales, account management and customer service functions. The company says it could add production, distribution and manufacturing operations in Indy in the future.
Brothers and Indiana University graduates Brian and Brett Morrison founded Terraboost in 2006. The company offers multiple models of advertising displays that include hand-sanitizing functions in locations including grocery stores, malls, airports and drug stores. The platforms offer both digital and static billboards.
Terraboost plans to hire for positions in areas including sales and account management, customer success, sales, trainers and appointment setting. The company currently has about 140 employees nationwide. Chief Executive Officer Brian Morrison says the leadership team was most impressed by "the caliber of talent in Indiana, along with the humble attitudes and Midwestern values not found in other areas of the country."
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered Terraboost up to $1 million in conditional tax credits based on the job-creation plans. The city of Indianapolis is also supporting the project.
