Jessica Morales Maust and Kyle Hattenburg

Marian University has promoted Jessica Morales Maust to assistant vice president of enrollment management. She most recently served as executive director of the Marian University Center for Vibrant Schools and head of school for the Marian University Preparatory School, where she was responsible for launching Central Indiana’s newest K-12 online school.

In her new role, Morales Maust will plan, oversee, direct and evaluate the university’s enrollment management efforts, including designing and implementing recruitment strategies and overseeing admissions operations. She previously held leadership positions in admissions, enrollment management, marketing and institutional advancement for K-12 and higher education organizations, including Iona College in New York, St. Joseph High School in Connecticut, and Canterbury School in Fort Wayne. Her community service work includes serving on the Young Professionals Council for TeenWorks, which provides at-risk teens with work and professional development experience; on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne; and on the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Awareness Committee for Indianapolis’ School on Wheels. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and Spanish, an MBA in marketing and human resources management, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in organizational leadership.

Also, Kyle Hattenburg has been promoted to assistant vice president for health professions enrollment management. He previously served as director of enrollment management for the university’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. In his new role, Hattenburg will oversee the admissions operations, recruitment, financial aid and alumni engagement within the university’s health professions. This includes developing and implementing data-driven recruitment and scholarships for all health professions programs.

He previously held leadership positions in admissions and management for several undergraduate and graduate medical programs at Marian University, Purdue University, Indiana University and University of Arkansas. Hattenburg is a member of the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals and the American Marketing Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree in religion with a minor in business management from Harding University.
