The university said Thursday that MU Prep will now serve K-10 students in 31 new states and Washington D.C.
After partnering with online curriculum provider K12 in 2022, the university initially offered the Catholic faith-based school only to sixth through eighth graders residing in Indiana online as well as a hybrid program available to those in Indianapolis.
The hybrid program will continue under the expansion and be available for sixth through 10th grade.
“With the launch of MU Prep last year, we were able to tap into decades of experience preparing transformative leaders in service to the world and provide Indiana students an opportunity to jumpstart their future,” said Kenith Britt, COO and chancellor of Marian University Indianapolis, in a news release. “Now in year two, students in over half the country will be able to do the same.”
Marian said the newly eligible states all sit to the east of Texas. Grade 11 will be added in 2024-25 academic year and grade 12 thereafter,
