The company is a global manufacturer of component parts for the medical, electronics, and automotive industries.
Marian Inc. added new space for machine shop operations during the first phase of the project. The second phase included expansion of the third floor of the company headquarters.
With this additional state-of-the-art manufacturing space, we will add jobs, production capacity, and new technologies to continue to advance our service to our customers and 12 divisions worldwide,” said Marian President William Witchger.
The addition to the 3rd floor created over 30,000 square feet in manufacturing space for die-cutting and converting operations. The company says the space also includes the new home of Marian’s state-of-the-art prototyping lab.
Marian says it wanted to ensure the exterior finishes of the additions to complement the historical features of the existing building, which was built in 1928. The company purchased the building in 1996.
“It was fun to design a new floor with modern features while maintaining the character of this incredible historic building,” said Witchger. “It was an easy decision to expand our building in downtown Indianapolis. We have a great location for our employees and our business. “
