The commercial and residential steel roofing manufacturer has invested more than $1.5 million into the 10-acre site, which it says will create 17 jobs.
The site includes three new buildings totaling more than 35,000 square feet. Radius Indiana says ProMark will manufacture steel roofing at the site, which will also serve as a distribution center for Ohio-based Richland Laminated Columns. Additionally, the location includes a retail center allowing customers to purchase lumber, roofing supplies and pole barn packages.
"Since selecting our site location, we have been warmly welcomed by Linton," said ProMark Co-founder Greg Elliott. "This was a big undertaking, but with the strong collaboration between the city, county and the state partners, we are ready to start serving our customers. Most importantly, we are excited to be able to do business here and provide new jobs to our community."
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. has approved $85,000 in conditional tax credits in addition to a $15,000 grant from the state’s Industrial Development Grant Fund. Radius Indiana also provided grand funding to help the city complete infrastructure improvements for the project.
