Beginning spring 2024, the university will recognize two-year Associate of Arts or Associates of Sciences degrees as a block for 60 credits fulfilling the school’s general education requirements.
Manchester officials say the move is a significant step toward improving access for transfer students.
“We are thrilled to offer this opportunity to transfer students who have completed their AA or AS degrees,” Vice President for Academic Affairs Celia Cook-Huffman said in a news release. “Manchester University recognizes the value of their prior academic work and is dedicated to providing a smooth and supportive transition into our learning community.”
