The episode was recorded in September during the 48-hour competition, Make48.
The nationwide maker competition held a regional contest at the Maker Playground, which is located in the Hub and Spoke building in Fishers.
Teams were presented with a real-world challenge and had 48 hours to come up with a solution, including building a prototype, creating a sales sheet, producing a marketing video and pitching the campaign to a panel of judges.
The first-place team, who will be unveiled during Wednesday night’s show, will advance to Make48’s national competition in March.
Fishers Maker Playground will host a watch party on Wednesday from 7:30-9:30 p.m. The local teams will be there to talk about the experience.
The Maker Playground offers a variety of equipment for innovators, including 3D printers, laser engraver & cutters, and CNC machinery.
