Dirk Webb (pictured) will fill the role left vacant by Dennis Ashley, who parted ways with the chamber in November.
The chamber says Webb will step away from the board until a permanent successor is named. Webb, who also serves as business development manager for Flagship Enterprise Center in Anderson, will not be a candidate for the permanent job.
The chamber did not provide a specific reason for Ashley’s departure from the organization last month. The board says it will announce search plans at a later date.
