Lyp Named to Northwest Indiana RDA Board

Subscribe NowPatrick Lyp has been named to the board of directors for the Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority. He currently serves as city attorney for the city of Valparaiso. Lyp previously served the city of Valparaiso as general counsel and economic development director. Prior to joining the city in 2013, he was a partner with the law firm of Blachly, Tabor, Bozik & Hartman, specializing in municipal work. He has been a speaker on the subject of legal ethics and is a recipient of the Friends of Mental Health Association award. Lyp previously served as a member of the Porter County Election Board and Pines Village Retirement Community Board, as well as an adjunct professor at Valparaiso University School of Law. He is a graduate of The Catholic University of America with a BA in philosophy and earned his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. Lyp currently serves on the board of directors for Opportunity Enterprises.
