Two Indiana cities, Logansport and Muncie, have been named finalists for the 2020 All-America City Award. Indiana is one of only 18 states to make the list and one of three to have more than one finalist.

The National Civic League named Logansport and Muncie among the nationwide list of 22 communities. The civic league says the finalists represent the diversity of American communities from the largest cities to the smallest towns.

The finalist communities will compete this June to be recognized as one of ten All-America Cities for 2020.

The National Civic League says this year’s award focuses on community efforts to enhance health and well-being for all in their cities, particularly for populations currently experiencing poorer health outcomes.
