Lippert Growing Its Automotive Aftermarket Business

Ranch Hand manufactures custom bumpers, grill guards and running steps. According to Lippert, the Texas company was one of the first in the heavy-duty truck accessory market.
Lippert, which is a subsidiary of LCI Industries (NYSE: LCII), entered the automotive sector in December 2019 when it announced the acquisition of the CURT Group, an automotive accessory manufacturer located in Wisconsin.
“With the Ranch Hand acquisition, we are further supporting our dedication to becoming a large player in this space,” said Jamie Schnur, group president of Lippert’s aftermarket business. “Ranch Hand’s brand presence in the space is well-respected. Its front bumpers are viewed by consumers as a premium accessory, in large part due to the added level of safety for the truck owner.”
Financial details of the purchase were not disclosed.
