Subscribe NowEli Lilly and Company (NYSE: LLY) has announced Aarti Shah, senior vice president and chief information and digital officer, will retire in 2021. Lilly says Shah has spent 27 years with the company, and that the search for her successor is underway.
“Aarti has been an invaluable member of our executive committee,” said David A. Ricks, Lilly’s chairman and chief executive officer. “Her deep experience in drug development enabled her to connect our information technology organization to all aspects of our business from drug discovery and development, to manufacturing, to our commercial capabilities.”
Shah joined Lilly as a senior statistician in 1994, and became vice president for biometrics in 2009. She led global statistics sciences, data sciences and solutions until 2013, when she was named global brand development leader in the company’s Bio-Medicines unit.
