Lilly Makes Leadership Changes

Senior Vice President and current President of Lilly Bio-Medicines Patrik Jonsson has been named president of Lilly USA and the newly created position of chief customer officer.
With the advancement of the Jonnson, current vice president of U.S. Diabetes Ilya Yuffa has been promoted to senior vice president and will succeed Jonsson as president of Lilly Bio-Medicines.
Jonsson and Yuffa will report to Lilly Chairman and Chief Executive Officer David Ricks. The changes are effective October 1.
Jonnson has been with the company since 1990 with much of his career having been spent overseas. He’s held leadership roles in Japan, Italy, Scandinavia and Sweden.
Yuffa has been with the company for 25 years. Before assuming leadership for U.S. Diabetes in 2018, Yuffa served as general manager of Italy.
