Lighthouse says it plans to open therapy centers in Plymouth, Warsaw and Goshen this fall and create an additional 60 jobs.
The center says the expansion will make it the largest applied behavior analysis provider in northern Indiana. Lighthouse says its therapy centers work with children to develop social skills, communication skills, and school-readiness skills, among others.
“The need for autism therapy services is great, particularly in smaller cities like Plymouth, Warsaw and Goshen,” said Gregg and Sandy Maggioli, founders of Lighthouse Autism Center. “We started Lighthouse to bring therapy to communities that need it, and we are excited to continue that mission with this latest expansion.”
After a brief shutdown earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lighthouse says all of its locations are now open and offering services. The center says it has developed new policies and procedures in order to maintain clean and safe facilities.
