Lieutenant Governor Candidates to Debate Ag Issues

Republican Suzanne Crouch and Democrat Christina Hale will debate Tuesday afternoon at the Indiana State Fair.
The candidates will face questions from a panel that includes Megan Conant, Indiana farm director, Brownfield Network; John Ketzenberger, president, Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute and Gary Truitt, president, Hoosier Ag Today.
The event is hosted by AgrIInstitute.
"As Indiana’s secretary of agriculture, the Lt. Governor is an important leader of our agricultural community," said AgrIInstitute Executive Director Beth Archer. “Our organization is dedicated to enhancing Indiana’s leadership capacity and network of leaders among the agricultural industry."
Inside INdiana Business host Gerry Dick will moderate the event.
Last month, gubernatorial candidates Eric Holcomb (R) and John Gregg (D) appeared at an event for Hoosier ag stakeholders, discussing the state of the industry and their plans if elected governor in November.
