The Indiana Department of Workforce Development is partnering with AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) to bring the initiative, providing academic support for at-risk students, to Lawrenceburg High School.
AT&T is supporting the effort with $30,000 in funding. The state says the company has provided more than $6 million in funding to JAG and its local affiliates since 2008.
AG provides students with skills training and mentoring during high school and follow-up counseling after graduation. The program has served more than 13,000 students since 2006. The department says more than 93 percent of JAG students graduated high school last academic year.
