The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce has announced Jared Ell is the new director of Launch Terre Haute and West Central Indiana Business Hub. Ell currently is Assistant Director of Marketing Strategy for Residential Life and Housing at Indiana State University.

“I’ve watched the Chamber, Launch and countless other organizations work for years to support local business and economic development, I’ve cheered them on along the way, and now I’m excited to get off the sidelines and into the game. I can’t wait to work with our local business leaders and capture the potential we have here in the Wabash Valley,” said Ell.

Ell’s new role also includes working as a referral specialist for COVID-19 resources at the West Central Indiana Business Hub, which was created earlier in the year to help assess community needs during the pandemic. For more information, click here.

“As resources continue to change in regards to COVID relief efforts at the Federal, state, and local level Jared will stay up to date with all resources and be able to create a road map for businesses that need assistance due to COVID,” explains West Central Indiana Small Business Development Center Regional Director Courtney Chipol. “As part of the ISBDC, all COVID relief efforts we will be rolling out at the state and local level, in which Jared will be working one-on-one with clients to assist.”

Ell will begin his new role in early October.
