The company says its former location in Carmel will reopen Tuesday under its sister company Praxis by Landmark Recovery, a Medicaid-focused drug and alcohol rehabilitation center.
Landmark says the new location holds 72 patients. The building includes common areas, group therapy rooms, and office space, among others.
“While we are grateful to be expanding to help more people, we wish we didn’t have to,” said Matt Boyle, chief executive officer at Landmark Recovery. “The opioid crisis, the pandemic and addiction in general have done such damage to our society, individuals and families. It’s devastating to see the effects of addiction and I can only hope our additional locations in Indiana will start to make a difference for our patients and their loved ones.”
The company says Praxis by Landmark Recovery will house 48 patients and will offer residential treatment and life skills training.
Landmark did not disclose financial details of its investment in the facility.
