Pennsylvania-based Renovus Capital Partners has acquired a majority interest in the technology services and data analytics consultancy. Financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
KSMC says the acquisition follows a historic period of growth for the company, which has grown by 500 percent over the past five years. Indianapolis-based accounting firm Katz, Sapper & Miller will retain a minority ownership in KSMC, along with a seat on the board of directors.
As a result of the acquisition, KSMC President Mark Caswell will transition to the role of chief executive officer.
KSMC says it will immediately begin hiring up to 30 new employees at its Indianapolis headquarters in an effort to support the company’s continuing growth. The new jobs include data analytics, technology and project management.
"I speak on behalf of the entire KSMC team when I say that we owe much of our success over the last 10 years to our incredible clients and partners," Caswell said in a news release. "We are excited to expand our Indianapolis headquarters and invest in the Indianapolis community in big ways as we begin a new chapter."
KSM Consulting was founded in 2008.
