Officials say Utt will continue to work with the corporation’s leadership to ensure a smooth transition going forward.
Board Chairman Craig Kirk says Utt positioned the county for continued success in the future, and that Utt was instrumental in securing partnerships that will support and expand the county’s initiatives for years to come.
Prior to his work with the county, Utt served 26 years at Regions Bank where he focused on business development and sales management of the consumer and business division for seventeen branches in southern Indiana and 3 branches in Illinois.
Officials say the board has launched a search to find a good fit for Utt’s successor.
