Kiwanis International Promotes Martz to Director

He has worked for the organization for 10 years in various roles supporting communications, membership, innovation and collegiate programming.
For the past 19 years, Martz has worked in the nonprofit world, predominately in the areas of communication and management. He joined the Kiwanis staff in January 2010. Before joining Kiwanis, Martz worked for a national fraternity headquarters coordinating communications and member services. His professional career started as a high school journalism teacher.
Martz is a 17-year Kiwanis member. He is currently a member of the Kiwanis Club of Meridian Hills in Indianapolis. He has served as club president twice and two terms as lieutenant governor for the Kiwanis Indy Metro Division.
Martz graduated from Ball State University in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and secondary education.
