Kettler, who most recently served as director of public relations for Hamilton County-based Beck’s Hybrids, will begin his new role January 8.
Kettler succeeds Ted McKinney, who left the position to become Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The U.S. Senate confirmed McKinney’s appointment in October.
"Bruce has proven over the last few decades that he is committed to the agriculture industry, and knows what innovations and strides we can make to keep ensuring Indiana is at the forefront of the field," Crouch said in a news release. "His experience and dedication for agriculture development makes him an excellent choice as director of ISDA. I look forward to seeing what Bruce does in maintaining food and agriculture as a driving force in Indiana’s economy."
Prior to joining Beck’s Hybrids, Kettler spent 17 years with Dow Agrosciences in Indianapolis in a variety of sales and communications positions.
