Indianapolis-based Kenzie Academy has named Danielle McDowell general manager, effective immediately. McDowell previously was the executive director of The Speak Easy in downtown Indianapolis.

McDowell is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. She is an entrepreneur and former co-founder of Loxa Beauty, acquired by Sally Beauty Holdings in 2013. 

“Danielle McDowell is an outstanding addition to the Kenzie Academy team and sends a strong signal nationwide that Indianapolis is at the epicenter of the growing technology industry,” said Chok Ooi, Co-founder and chief executive officer of Kenzie Academy.
