Kentucky-based Commonwealth Hotels has acquired the Staybridge Suites hotel in Fishers and the Hampton Inn & Suites in Scottsburg. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Commonwealth says it plans to retain all employees and anticipates adding more jobs, though a specific number was not provided.

“We are excited to add these additional hotels to the Indiana market,” said Jennifer Porter, chief operations officer. “Our managed portfolio is now 58 strong across the US and we have a significant pipeline of deals that we expect to close on in the coming months.”

Commonwealth says it anticipates completing a renovation at Hampton Inn & Suites as well as improvements at Staybridge Suites.
