She is a member of the firm’s business, acquisitions and securities practice group and will focus her practice on providing general corporate and business law advice, with a focus on agribusiness and the life sciences.
Mayberry has nearly 20 years of diverse legal experience involving mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property licensing, the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
She previously served as vice president and general counsel at AgReliant Genetics LLC, the third largest corn seed company in North America. In that role, Mayberry advised the company on a broad range of legal matters while balancing the practical needs of the business. She was also an in-house attorney at Anthem Inc., focused on creating innovative collaborations in the provision of healthcare, mergers and acquisitions and antitrust compliance.
Over her career, Mayberry has been active in numerous community organizations, including the Indiana FFA Foundation (past-treasurer), Hamilton County Airport Authority (past-president), Fox Hill Community Garden (co-founder), Indiana Leadership Forum (past-secretary) and the Indiana Juvenile Justice Taskforce (past-treasurer). She is currently serving on the Joint Ag Law Steering Committee for the joint degree program of Purdue University and the IU McKinney School of Law.
Mayberry is 2001 cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan School of Law, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with high distinction from Indiana University.
