Forston previously served as manager of Mead Johnson Nutrition’s Enterprise Program Management Office in Evansville.
In her new role, Forston will manage the organization’s work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy programs. The organization says the programs reach more than 26,000 K-12 students in southwestern Indiana and southeastern Illinois.
"Marcia’s extensive experience will be invaluable to the organization," said Jim Wittman, chairman of the board of directors of Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana. "Her leadership will guide the organization as JASWIN implements our strategic growth plan to positively impact the lives of more area students."
Forston is not a stranger of nonprofit organizations, having been a founding member of Gilda’s Club Evansville and serving as president of the Public Education Foundation.
