Job Fair Targeting Kentuckiana Medical Center Workers

Subscribe NowWorkOne will Thursday host a Healthcare Sector Job Fair in New Albany in an effort to assist soon-to-be displaced workers from the Kentuckiana Medical Center. The medical center’s parent announced earlier this month the facility will close its doors before the end of April.
The job fair will run from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 2125 State Street #16 in New Albany. The event will provide information on several hundred current employment openings that align with the skill sets of the affected workers.
About 20 healthcare and healthcare-related companies are expected to attend, including:
- Clark Memorial
- Baptist Healthcare
- Kindred Healthcare
- University of Louisville Hospital
- Southern Indiana Rehabilitation Hospital
- St. Vincent Hospital
- Trilogy
- Kentucky One Health
- Norton Healthcare
Attendees are being encouraged to dress professionally and bring several copies of their resume. WorkOne will also have information on its Healthcare Sector Training Opportunities at the event.
